OBAMA IN THE LEAD-Democratic presidential nominee Senator Barack Obama leads the Republican presidential nominee Senator John McCain in the battelground states of Ohio, Pennslyvania and Minnesota, according to new polls.
2ND DEBATE-Senator Joe Biden and Governor Sarah Palin debated on October 2, 2008 at Washington Univeristy in St. Louis, Missouri. Joe Biden argued his views with substance, whereas Governor Sarah Palin lacked depth and knowledge on her political views. Obama 2, McCain 0. Joe Biden helped carry the torch for the Democrats, winning the lead in the debates. What will McCain do next on Tuesday, October 7, 2008?

DNC DAY 4-Obama made history on August 28, 2008 accepting the Democratic Presidential Nominnee for his bid to become the nation's first African American President. He spoke in front 84,000 excited people at Invesco Field in Denver, Colorado.
DNC DAY 3- BREAKING NEWS-SENATOR BARACK OBAMA NOMINATED BY ACCLAMATION
DNC DAY 2- New York Senator Hillary Clinton delivered an emphatic plea to all of her delegates to unite, saying "Whether you voted for me, or voted for Barack, the time is now to unite as a single party with a single purpose." Continuing Obama's praise, she slammed Senator John McCain saying,"No way, no how, no McCain."
DNC DAY 1- The Democratic National Convention kicksoff in Denver, Colorado with a moving first day. Both Senator Edward "Ted" Kennedy and Michelle Obama address the audience creating tears and cheers throughout.
OBIDEN-Presumptive Democratic Presidential nominee, Senator Barack Obama has announced his vice presidential pick, Delaware Senator Joe Biden. Obama's decision is intended to give the Democratic ticket depth in areas Obama was labeled as weak by his Republican opponents, such as foreign policy and global security.
